Mesh count refers to the number of openings per linear inch, with a higher mesh count indicating smaller openings. For example, a 100-mesh screen has larger openings than a 200-mesh screen. Wire diameter refers to the diameter of the wires that make up the mesh screen, and it affects the strength and filtration accuracy of the screen, among other properties.

The export market of wire mesh is extensive, including developed countries in Europe and the United States, such as the United States for building protection, industrial filtration and other fields, and European countries have a greater demand for building decoration, food processing and filtration. There is a continuous demand for filter wire mesh in the petrochemical industry in the Middle East. Some emerging and developing countries in Asia, such as India, are also increasing the use of wire mesh in construction, agriculture and other fields.
